Shannon Walsh

Shannon Walsh was born in Oswestry, UK in 1992. She has moved between the UK and the Middle East throughout her life, living in Kuwait, Rochdale, Oman and now Cardiff. Oman is where she calls home after living there for 8 wonderful years. While living here she grew a passion for photography and film editing, as well as having the amazing opportunity to travel much of Asia.

At the age of 18, she moved to Cardiff to pursue her dream of making movies! She began a three year course in BA(hons) Film & Video at the University of South Wales. In her second year she worked as Editor, Gradist and Camera Assistant on the Charity film 'Getting Lucky' for Welsh Women's Aid. Which then moved her forward into the Cardiff networking scene, working on short films as a camera assistant and screening her films at Chapter Arts Centre. Most recently she has worked on a feature film called 'The Enemy' in Swansea.

At the age of 21, Shannon is now more determined than ever to pursue her dream of making features! She is currently freelancing as a Camera Trainee and Camera Assistant, and graduates from university this summer!
